Swine (H1N1) & seasonal flu

Pregnant women are more susceptible to contracting the seasonal flu and developing complications as their immune systems become compromised to accommodate for the fetus growing inside of them. NCMA Women’s OB/GYN Center highly recommends that all pregnant women receive a flu vaccine from their primary care physicians or at flu vaccination clinics. Vaccinations from H1N1 (swine flu) are now included in the seasonal flu shot.
